It's finally rainning!
After a beautiful yet dry winter, we finally receive god's blessing: water reserves for a qualitative new vintage. 100 mm of rain (which is a quarter of the annual) have fallen in about twelve days. The vineyard is greener, the flowers are beginning to blossom and, actually, the show was nice to see...

Stone story
The ground of the Terroir de La Clape is essentially composed of hard limestone slides from the mountain. But in Château d'Anglès, the down part of the vineyard grows on pebbles carried away by the Aude river up to the XIIIth century. We heritate from this perfect soil to grow qualitative wines, and here's Mourvèdre grape variety below that will be part of the vintage 2006 blends.

Nice weather
Hello from the beach down the estate, just to tell you that we've got a beautiful month of February and that labor in the vineyard like pruning is going well.

Happy New Year!
Sustainable farming is taking care of the vines with biodegradable products,
and only when necessary, so as to respect the life of the soil and the plant.
Sustainable farming is also about watching the birds lift off the ground and about smelling
the sugary aromas of the flowers of wild arugala when you walk through the vineyard.
Sustainable farming is letting life and the terroir blossom in the vines
so you appreciate them better in the wine...
